Sun Safe and Sustainable– The Farmdog Crew is Outfitted for the Season

The season has officially started and our tent crew technicians are hitting the beach dressed for the environment–in more ways than one. This season’s employee uniform takes into account the sometimes harsh conditions on the beach, and the planet itself.

Dealing with hot sand, bright sun, and changing surf conditions requires a uniform that can stand up to the elements. After more than a decade of experience, we’ve dialed in the perfect attire to get the job done. A lightweight hooded UV top paired with a hat keeps our crew cool and protected from the sun. And when your office is the beach itself, a pair of board shorts are a must.

Visible branding on our attire conveys our dedication to professionalism. As we often have to access gated pool areas and private beach walkways and gazebos, it lets our customers know who it is servicing their rental property. 

This year, we’ve extended our company’s commitment to sustainability to our uniforms as well. All 2025 Farmdog Beach Services employee uniforms are made in the USA. Our hats are manufactured in Ohio, the UV tops come from California, and our boardshorts hail from Brooklyn.

By sourcing pieces manufactured domestically, we are cutting the carbon emissions produced by international shipping. Along with reducing our company’s carbon footprint, we feel good knowing that we are supporting our economy and the businesses of our friends and neighbors across our country.
